Alyssa & Jeffrey

Alyssa and Jeffrey first met in High School. Jeffrey was dating a friend of Alyssa’s at the time, and the three would often hang out after school.

They would lose contact after graduating from High School; Jeffrey moved to Vermont for the start of his Army career and Alyssa moved to North Carolina for College.

They reconnected upon Jeffrey’s return home from his time in the Army, and met for a brunch date at the Poynt restaurant in Newburyport, MA. They went years without contact and “Oh – wow hi” was the first sentence Jeffrey said to her (he did always have a way with words). 

After brunch, they took both of their dogs – Willow and Dickel – on a long “test” walk to see if they would get along amicably. As if it was meant to be, Willow and Dickel clicked just as easily as Alyssa and Jeff did.

Following their first date, they were inseparable – Dickel, Willow, Alyssa and Jeffrey. They began spending nearly every day with each other, whether at Jeff’s apartment in Billerica, MA or Alyssa’s house in Amesbury, MA.

They quickly became a happy family and began the search for their first house together. After months of searching, they finally put an offer in on their dream home and got accepted.

Once they completed the move and settled into their new home, they both came to the realization that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together -- the rest was history.
